Cool sightings of the week:
A couple... Two rabbits were spotted near each other in the grass this week, and suddenly there were three of them, reminding me of the frolicking sometimes observed between bunnies in the springtime where one rabbit is seen to charge the other one which then jumps high in the air at the last moment narrowly averting the imminent soft impact. Also this week, a large bull-frog was found in the top section of the pond as it perched in the water in front of some moss covered rocks. I snapped a photo and will be sure to get it on the website. Then suddenly last night, I was excited to find that three different bull-frogs had staked out their separate areas in the pond for the evening and seemed to be wallowing contentedly on a midsummer's eve. What a treat! Catching a daytime triple bunny sighing near the meadow and a "menage a frog" gathering in the pond late one night this week was very cool!
