Cool sighting of the week:Happened while over at Solberg Airport last Sunday afternoon. A flock of about twenty small birds was seen flying low over the fields of wildflowers during the final balloon ascension. Within a few moments of watching the little birds they took high to the sky as they flew up over the treetops and past an enormous golf ball shaped hot air balloon that was inflating just beyond the trees. The hot air balloon looked just like a golf ball stuck in the rough as it was nestled between the trees in the foreground awaiting its ascension. The birds passing by added a touch or realism to the surrealistic scene. It was very cool!
