Cool sightings of the week:A few... last weekend's unseasonably mild temperatures were warm enough cause a few late season sunflower sprouts to pop up through the damp Novemeber earth. Also, the illustrious and optimistic, rust-ensconced thermometer was noticed to read 86 degrees, though it's reading was most certainly incorrect due to the bright morning sun.
And, finally, a big fluffy skunk was seen making it's way through the backyard in search of food as usual this week. In a rare, first ever sighting, however, the skunk was seen climbing all the way to the top of the pond for a drink at the waterfall. Ah, the crisp taste of Autumn, catching sight of the skunk catching a drink at the waterfall this week was very cool!
